Background
Confirmed by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony). Not less than 98% as determined by agargel electrophoresis, quantitative densitometry immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony).
Source
Sterile-filtered human plasma.
Product
Chromatographically purified human myeloma IgG3 kappa, allotype G3m(b). Lyophilized, stable white powder. No preservative added. The lyophilized content is reconstituted by adding 0.5 ml of sterile distilled water, mixed gently by inversion until complete dissolution is obtained.
Specificity
Chromatographically purified Human myeloma IgG3 kappa, allotype G3m(b).
Applications
Purified human IgG3 kappa may be used as a reference antigen, calibrator, coating protein and blocking agent in a variety of immunoassays including immunodiffusion, immunoelectrophoresis, ELISA, Western blotting, dot-immunobinding assays (DIBA), haemagglutination, and cell-binding assays.
Storage
This product is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature. After arrival store at +4°C. Prolonged storage may be at -20°C. Allow to stand at ambient temperature for 5-10 minutes to reach equilibrium. Reconstituted solution may be stored frozen. Working dilutions may be prepared by adding the required amount of phosphate buffered saline (PBS), should not be refrozen and preferably used within 24 hours. Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation and will not affect the performance of the product.
Shipping Conditions: Ship at ambient temperature
